At 8th weeks, when you take home your puppy from us, the puppy is capable of eating dry kibble and canned puppy food, but we still recomend soaking their kibble for atleast 15min with water before giving it. We give them assortment of feed so their gut is ready to transition to what ever feeding regime you plan for them and should have no diarehea issue within the transition.
If ever you decide to continue to feed them with the same that we give them, these are the feed we give them.
1. Natures Domain Puppy, we get it from Costco.
2. Pure Balance Puppy, we get it from Walmart.
3. Pedegree with Rice and Lamb, we get it from Walmart
4. Treats, chicken breast (no skin), we get roasted chicken from Costo they get the breast part we consume the rest.
5. Cottage, we mix ½ tea spoon once a day in the feed (calcium supplement)
This how those feed were introduce; Puppies at birth will start with milk from their mom, so during gestation we feed the mother with puppy food and supplement her with foods that are rich in calcium and minerals. Between 3½ to 4½ weeks we will start to supement and introduce feeds. We start with milk replacement formula thicken with rice cereal baby food, we gradually add grounded puppy kibble in the mix and slowly pull out the rice cereal the the milk formula every day till it is just wet grounde puppy kibble also called gruel. At 6th weeks we start introduce feeding with other puppy food like Pure Balance Puppy and Pedegree Rice and Lamb for Puppy.
